A successful quit smoking story is good to hear

Tell your quit smoking story.

A quit smoking story is always good to hear. To hear about a successful stop smoking story is always better and it makes you feel good. You become and feel happy when you hear or read about ex-smokers who succeeded with their quit smoking efforts.

You also hear and read about people who tried and who never succeeded. I do feel sorry for them. I always think that these are the people whom should just have tried a bit harder and a bit longer to quit.

Then there are a group of people who are in the process of quitting. They have just given up, or they are planning to give up, or they are busy with the quitting process. These people are active in the quit smoking forums. They like to tell their stories, they report on their progress, they talk about their quit smoking problems. ---This group of people always needs some help and support. ---

Especially Ex-smokers can assist them so much, and we should certainly do it. We can only tell them our quit smoking stories. While you are fighting to quit the nicotine addiction it is always good to hear from Ex-smokers who battled to quit and who eventually succeeded.

I think people who have already tried once or even a couple of times should bear in mind that there are a couple of factors to take into account before you end your efforts to quit smoking.

If you are a smoker and you want to be able to tell your quit smoking story please remember the following:

1) There are not many Ex-smokers that succeeded with their first quit smoking effort. Too many unsuccessful quitters gave up after their first quit smoking effort.

2) We can remember the following---

Confucius said the following. “When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don’t adjust the goals, adjust the action steps.”

Malcolm Forbes said. “How to succeed? Try hard enough.”

Gary Player from South Africa said. “The harder you work (try) the luckier you get.”

3) Normally Ex-smokers do have to make three or more quit smoking efforts before they succeed.

The most successful method to use still is the cold turkey quit smoking method. You can click here to read about some one’s specific story about quitting cold turkey.

4) We should always remember that people that do smoke differ so much from each other. There are many things that do have an influence on the method to quit smoking that will help them to succeed.

People that want to quit are of different ages, different personalities, different sizes, male or female, and even their health conditions do differ. Add to that the number of cigarettes a person smoke per day as well as the number of years he/she has been smoking and one must understand that it will not be easy to quit at once.

One should be willing to try different methods to stop smoking until you find the one that is suitable for you. The secret is to keep on trying until you do succeed and you have your own quit smoking story to tell.

Click here to tell your quit smoking story, may be it took a couple of efforts. If you will be so kind we would love to read about it. You can even tell us your story that did not succeed the first time.

A quitting story:

I started to smoke when I was young and I also thought I was wise.

When I became older I wanted to stop, but it was a bit difficult and I did not deem it too necessary to quit.

After being smoking for more than fifteen years, smoking became my boss. It controlled my health and my work. It controlled my whole being and it made me very unhappy.

I was lucky enough to find the right way to quit smoking and I eventually conquered the nicotine addiction.
